Chef Nonaka presents culinary recipe book: Sazanka - Refined Teppanyaki Cuisine
donderdag, 30 oktober 2008
finale.jpgIn Sazanka – Refined Teppanyaki Cuisine Chef Masashi Nonaka and his team demonstrate that their cooking is a far cry from the ‘show-and-throw’ spectacle often associated with teppanyaki cuisine. Twenty delicious Japanese grilled dishes are explained and illustrated step by step, including starters, fried noodles and rice, meat, fish, vegetarian dishes, sauces and desserts. All are presented with the typical Sazanka touch – teppanyaki cuisine of gastronomic quality. In addition, the history of this culinary tradition will be discussed extensively, as well as the latest trends, products and materials.

A Taste of Things to Come…
We are delighted to give you a look behind the scenes in teppanyaki Chef Nonaka’s extraordinary kitchen. Especially for lovers of teppan cooking he will be presenting the Waza menu, a four-course dinner featuring dishes from his book:
* Oyster with Soboro beef
* Salad of lightly smoked duck breast and duck liver
* Thinly sliced Wagyu rolls of US Black Angus beef with vegetables (garlic and leek)
* Fried rice
* Crêpe with seasonal fruits and ice cream

Afterwards you will receive a signed copy of the book, so you can start as a teppan cook in your own home. The package will cost €180.00 for two persons, including one copy of the book; €250.00 for three persons, including one copy of the book, or €285.00 including two copies; and €320.00 for four persons, including one copy of the book.

The book has been published in Dutch and English and will be available from booksellers and through Hotel Okura Amsterdam at €34.50 from the end of November. Sign up now to be among the first to receive a signed copy.
