From November 2 through November 15 the culinary event ‘Tokyo Fair 2009’ is organized in the adjoining Yamazato Restaurant. During this period Hiroyuki Kanda, Executive Chef & Owner of the famous Kanda Restaurant in Tokyo, and two of his chefs will be their guest for a few days. Hiroyuki Kanda’s restaurant ‘Kanda’ has been awarded three Michelin stars to note his exceptional cuisine.

Kanda Restaurant also presents the traditional Japanese Kaiseki Cuisine, the authentic haute cuisine of Japan, like the Yamazato Restaurant. For two weeks only the dishes of even a three-star Kaiseki Chef can be savored in Europe. To read more about the ‘Tokyo Fair’ in Yamazato please click here.
Sazanka also presents a special menu during these specials weeks with suggestions of Chef Kanda. The 8-coursemenu is priced at € 115, wine or sake pairings not included. The menu starts with a spectacular appetizer of lobster and champagne, more details will be revealed in the restaurant.
During the Tokyo Fair guests of the Yamazato and Sazanka Restaurants can prolong their stay at Hotel Okura Amsterdam with an overnight stay in a Deluxe Room at € 150 excluding breakfast (subject to availability).
